Have you ever wondered what makes a city beautiful and unique? Is it the lights, the buildings, people or art in general? Well, there are many factors that make a city look good and worth visiting. It depends on what people are most attracted to. I think art and creativity play a huge role, representing an idea, an emotion, but mostly something pleasant for the eye.
Prishtina is a beautiful city that has a lot of creative environments to enjoy. Today I decided to take a walk all around Prishtina and maybe see places I did not see before. It was a lovely day, a lot of people, trees starting to blossom. The magic of spring is just around the corner. As I arrived at "Rruga B" a long wall all along the way caught my eye. There were a lot of amazing murals that you can see as you walk down the road. These paintings made the street much more interesting, and the skills used for these paintings are just extraordinary.
For a moment I felt like I was in another world, because it felt so surreal. I was fascinated by the beauty of these paintings and the vibe I was getting. After every step I took, it made me want to walk more and more. Every part was getting more exciting to watch than the other.
These were the paintings I liked the most, because they transmitted a divine energy. As much as they were pleasant for the eye, they also conveyed a message for those who would like to see through.

The first one describes the beauty of a woman, glowing and in her habitat. The blue color dominating, gives a strong feeling of imagination and freedom. I can say that I was mesmerized by this beauty for quite a couple of minutes.

While the second one, in my opinion portrayed butterflies coming out of the glass, like the girl's feelings coming out of her heart. Butterflies often represent emotions and excitement, something you can feel while looking at this mural.

This mural was so realistic and the message behind it is deep. It shows the strength and the suffering of women. It actually tells that being a woman is no different than being a stone.
I walked all along the painted street of " Street B" and I can say that my face expressions looked like a little kid's, who is looking at candies or toys. It took me a while trying to leave, I felt like I could look at these murals forever.
The desire to see more made me go and find other murals in the city. I went to the train station and walked through the railway until I saw another painted wall.

What surprised me was the way women were portrayed in these paintings. They looked charming, incredibly powerful and beautiful. Staring at these murals for so long gave me a sense of confidence, like anything is possible.
This was a journey that proved to me it is always possible to make something boring and usual look magnificent. The painted streets of Prishtina give the city another impression. I know I have a lot of murals left to see and for sure I won't stop.
To people who are looking for something attractive to see, I would highly recommend visiting these murals. In a world of everyday monotony, art is the best escape.
