It's all about a train ride!

The daily rides with cars and buses are being boring, right? Traveling with other vehicles it is a different feeling. As a student, every week I travel back home, because I live in Peja. This week I decided to travel by train and trains are unlike any other vehicles. A new adventure and experience for me. I heard people always saying train rides hit different, and it really felt like that. I finished my tutorial classes in university, took the clothes, then I went to the station and waited. The train arrived at 16:10 and after 20 minutes we left Prishtina station. Firstly, when I entered the train it felt a bit strange because of people that were looking toward every person that was passing on the wagons. I left 2 wagons until I found a free chair to sit in. There was not any music playing, like in the other means of transportation and it was better.

After some minutes the conductor came to me, I made the payment of 1.50 € and took the ticket. A long train ride but so quiet and without obstacles of people. Of course, people were talking, but with low voices. While traveling a lot of memories were coming into my mind. It was the best time to think what I am doing with my life. I was feeling that I was alone in this universe. I noticed a lot of things like the windows that were broken, some of the chairs were destroyed, the people staying up in the corridors of wagons because of no free chairs, and a lot of stations where the train stopped. The main stations where the train stopped were Fushe Kosove, Drenas, Kline and the last one was Peja. I was curious to know why the windows are broken, and then I heard from people that they were broken by children, throwing rocks while the train was passing. I was shocked! Further on, I felt a little bit tired, but the view from the window was so inspiring, and I could not fall asleep.

Our country’s train was not luxurious like the other countries’ trains as the people describe, but it is comfortable and safe. Also, people travel with train because is cheaper. That is why trains are different from other vehicles. This ride lasted 2 hours. The feelings that I had over this train journey were wonderful. From the inside of my soul came such a good calmness, that I would like to have it every day. This train ride made me feel myself again after a long time. It is never late to experience and explore new things in your life. Enjoy every minute of your life ride.
