Railway through memory lane

 Today I decided to take the train from Peja to Prishtina. It’s not my first time traveling by train, but every time I do, it feels as if I’m taking a break from everything. To me, a train ride is more than just a mode of transportation; it’s an emotional and thrilling journey that’s simply enjoyable. Today I realized how every time I travel by train, it allows me to see the beauty of the world from a new perspective while also providing comfort and convenience. The ride is a bit long, and it can feel exhausting at times, but nevertheless it is a lot of fun, especially when I am in the company of good friends. Whenever I travel by train, my favorite thing to do is listen to music and wander off, gazing out the window. The breathtaking scenery one gets to experience is a huge benefit; it is a source of immense joy to view the moving landscape as the hills, mountains, rivers, and fields whiz by. It feels as if I have all the time in the world to think about everything while staring at the endless beauty of nature. The route taken by a train can make all the difference; it’s about the journey itself, the fleeting and ever-changing landscapes, the people you meet along the way, and the experiences that become lifelong memories.

Trains provide a very comfortable environment, and there are numerous ways to spend time on them. Today I decided to read a book since the weather was sunny and the mood felt right, but sometimes I also converse with other passengers, watch movies on my laptop, or even play games with my friends since there is a lot of space to do so. From my experience today, I would also like to add how thrilling it is to go through a tunnel and how the view of the sun setting behind the mountains from the train window is breathtaking. The sudden temperature change, the humdrum of the bogeys, and the symphony of the wheels hitting the metal tracks all add to the allure of the train journey.

If you ever get a chance to travel by train, you will meet a lot of people since there is a very friendly atmosphere. And from my experience, the majority of them are exceedingly courteous, kind, and nice. If you’re lucky, you’ll wind up making new acquaintances from various cities towards the end of your trip. The experiences, stories, and life tragedies you hear from these people may teach you many moral and spiritual lessons. It is the purest and truest purpose that a road trip, or rail journey, may satisfy you along the way.

To summarize, life is incomplete without travel, and the train is one of the best modes of transportation for bringing comfort and joy into your life. Today, just like every other time, it has helped me create many wonderful memories while traveling to my final destination. So, whenever you get to travel by train, add your attention and observation to the ride, and it will make your experience even more enjoyable.
