Do windmills touch the sky?

I know what you all must be thinking... They can't possibly touch the sky now, can they?
Well I didn't know for sure until I actually went and paid a visit to the windmills. And I must say, I was very disappointed to find out they don't actually touch the sky. But they get pretty close to it!

My Experience

Spending the day at the top of the mountain was better than I expected. I figured it would be cold, so I went prepared! There was still snow, just as I had imagined. But the weather was warm. The sun had been shining for the past week so I figured that the snow would probably melt soon. I'm glad it hadn't melted yet when I visited though, because oh boy were the pictures amazing!
The whole ride there I felt very excited.
I visited the place with some family members, and I took some light food for us to snack on during our visitation.
My first impression on seeing the windmills was "How huge are these things?!"
That was when it started to make sense why people imply that they "touch the sky"

These things were absolutely gigantic from up-close!
Here's a comparison between the huge windmills and the cars.

I had seen windmills before from afar in Montenegro but seeing them this close was a totally different feeling.
I couldn't stop taking pictures because the views were literally breathtaking.
There were quite a lot of people though. But I'd still stay there and wait for the perfect moment to take pictures.
I also experimented with my dad's binoculars and compared the distance of the windmill through normal eyesight and through binoculars!

Since the turbines are spread all over the mountains of Kika and not in a straight line, I wanted to visit all 9 of them from up-close. Besides the windmills, people seemed to have invested in businesses like opening restaurants and building villas. I thought it would be a good idea to have a drink and get warm a little bit but we found out the restaurant was still under construction and not yet opened.

In this picture I captured the windmills, the restaurant and the villas in one shot!

I enjoyed this day immensely; however, I couldn't not go visit again. But this time, when the weather was warm and sunny!

After about a month since my first visit I convinced my family to go again. Although this time, I had other ideas on how to spend the day. I told my dad to take the tents and set them up when we arrive up the hill. We found the perfect spot. A plain meadow with the windmill behind. I only saw people on the way there, but not at the destination that we stopped.

Me and my family enjoy grilling and BBQ, so we took some food and started a fire. On the other hand, I took a book as well, to relax and breathe the fresh air. I noticed that the windmills create a noise when they spin. But it's only noticeable when there's silence.
I genuinely enjoyed it so much and had lots of fun. During it all I contemplated on the fact that there's many other places like this that many people might not know about but that are totally worth visiting!

Summary

New adventures are always fun. For me, visiting this place showed me that getting to experience something for the first time holds that amazing feeling you'll always have in your memories. It makes you look forward to the next thing you're going to explore.
I would recommend everyone to visit these beautiful turbines at least once!
