In A Room With A Big Screen

  We all know the best thing to do when we are tired and want to go away from the real world for some hours is to go to cinema and watch a movie. That is what I did with my best friend last week. We wanted for a time now to go watch a movie, we were just waiting for the right movie. It was worth the wait.

We went to “Cineplexx” a well known cinema in Kosovo located in Pristina. While I was waiting in the line to get the ticket, what made me more excited is the feeling of being in a place with different people that all went to watch the same movie. The place itself is very intimidating with red and white colors, I really like the design there. Also I liked the fact that is a special room for each movie, there is also the number of the seat in each ticket so that people wouldn’t go in the wrong place. What made me feel even more excited is that I noticed a lot of people were interested to watch this movie, which means people have heard about it and is a good movie.

The ticket was at an affordable price. It costed 4€ since the movie was in 2D. We also bought popcorns and drinks to make the experience better. The movie started at 19:00 and lasted 1h 35min, but the time passes fast there.

The movie we chose to watch is about a bear which consumed cocaine. Not usual right? 

We chose to watch a movie in a different genre from the ones I prefer, because I usually watch Action   and Dramas. The movie is called “The Cocaine Bear” and is Thriller/Comedy. What made it more interesting is that it’s based on a true story.

It was not the first time that I went to that cinema because “Cineplexx” is one of the best cinemas in Kosovo. It has different movies, in different genres for different ages. A lot of Albanian movies have their premiere there too. Also If you want to be even more comfortable, the cinema has also VIP seats from which you have a better view.                                                                                                        

The audience was from different ages, there were friends who went for a night out just like my case but there were also families. Sometimes in cinemas it may be hard to focus on the movie because of other people chatting and making noises but this time I really enjoyed watching without deconcentration, everyone was very respectful to each other, except there were some times people were screaming especially kids, but not only them. Even I got scared in some cases, but it is understandable because there were some scenes when the bear had aggressive behaviours. Those noises made the atmosphere better and entertaining.

I would rate this experience and the movie 10/10. Not only It was relaxing but the movie was informative too. So, if you are looking forward to having an amazing experience, either during day or night, I would highly suggest you to make a stop at this cinema since I believe you won’t regret it.
